Currently, we offer a position of an Automation Test Engineer in a permanent employment. You will join a large project called „Testing House“ related to testing ECUs of all new models belonging to an german big OEM group.
Responsibilities:
- Testing and validating vehicle functions and components (HW & SW) on HiL systems or test stands.
- Planning, designing and implementing test concepts and test systems.
- Performing integration tests.
- Construction, configuration and commissioning of test systems, ECUs, and measuring equipment.
- Creating and executing test cases.
- Supporting and customizing the test systems (HiL system, test station).
- Improving development processes (both HW and SW).
- Analysis and assessment of test results along with documentation of errors.
Requirements:
- Completed studies or technical training in electrical engineering, automotive technology, computer science, industrial engineering, or similar fields.
- Knowledge of an programing languages (e.g. Python) for creating test cases.
- Hands on experience with bus systems and bus communication (e.g. CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
- Proficiency in German and English, both at a minimum B2 level.
- First experience in BUS Trace analysis.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of CAPL
- Experience in using measurement tools, such as multimeter, oscilloscope, or Vector tools.
- Hands on experience with ODIS
- Knowledge of concepts like TimeSynch, Security or Routing
