We are currently looking for a Software Architect for Android Framework in Munich/ Ingolstadt.
As an Architect you will be involved in the development and maintenance of Android frameworks and applications. This includes requirements analysis, design, development, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and creating unit test cases.
Your Tasks:
- Development and maintenance of Android frameworks and applications
- Create custom tests and validations for Android applications and perform integration of platform APIs and related functionality into Android test applications
- Implementation support of solutions for Android automotive-based IVI HMI application functions
- Implementation of defined unit and integration test strategies, test cases and documentation
- Perform framework API validation for platforms in the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi space, covering all aspects of the connectivity lifecycle
- Flashing software to hardware and then testing it
- Work with customers
Must have:
- Min. 8 years of experience
- Solid knowledge of Java and Kotlin
- Experience with the Android SDK and the Android framework
- Experience in manual and automated testing of Android Open Source Project (AOSP), ideally with APPIUM.
- Familiarity with GIT and JIRA.
- Solid knowledge in connectivity, especially Bluetooth and USB.
- At least B2 level of German and English
Nice to have:
- Experience with Linux
- Knowledge of embedded C/C++
- Experience with Jenkins
