We are currently looking for a Test Manager / Product Owner to join an innovative automotive development environment in Wolfsburg or Ingolstadt.
In this role, you will take ownership of functional test management for Remote Update (OTA) features and lead cross-location test activities within an agile development setup. You will coordinate distributed teams and ensure high software quality standards for modern automotive systems.
This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge automotive connectivity and update technologies in collaboration with multiple engineering teams.
Your Responsibilities
Together with your team you will:
- Take overall responsibility for test management of functional test cases related to Remote Update / OTA functions
- Prioritize, plan and control testing activities in an agile development environment
- Provide functional leadership and coordination of a distributed test team located in Wolfsburg, Ingolstadt and potentially Berlin
- Ensure test progress, test coverage and defined quality targets
- Prepare and deliver consolidated reporting for relevant stakeholders
- Drive the continuous improvement of test strategy, processes and tool landscape
- Align testing activities with development teams and project stakeholders
Your Profile
- University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a comparable qualification
- 3–5+ years of experience managing agile teams, ideally as a Product Owner or Test Manager in the automotive industry
- Good understanding of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN or Automotive Ethernet
- Experience with automotive testing, diagnostics and reporting tools, for example: iDEX, Teo, ENNA, Sys42, Azure DevOps, JIRA
- ISTQB certification is considered a plus
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Fluent German and English Skills
