We are currently looking for a Test Manager / Product Owner to support an innovative automotive software development environment in Wolfsburg or Ingolstadt.
In this role, you will take responsibility for test management of functional and automated test cases related to onboard flashing functionality. You will coordinate testing activities across locations and ensure high quality standards in an agile development environment.
This position offers the opportunity to work on advanced ECU software update technologies and collaborate with distributed engineering teams within the automotive ecosystem.
Your Responsibilities
Together with your team you will:
- Take overall responsibility for test management of functional and automated test cases related to Onboard Flash functionality
- Prioritize, plan and control testing activities within an agile development setup
- Provide functional leadership, coordination and alignment of a cross-location test team based in Wolfsburg and Ingolstadt
- Ensure test progress, test coverage and defined quality targets
- Deliver consolidated reporting to relevant stakeholders
- Drive the continuous development of testing strategy, processes and tool landscape
- Support collaboration between development teams, testing teams and project stakeholders
Your Profile
We are happy if you bring the following:
- University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a comparable qualification
- Experience in managing agile teams, ideally in the role of Product Owner or Test Manager in the automotive industry
- Good knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN or Automotive Ethernet
- Ideally experience with automotive testing, diagnostics and reporting tools, for example: iDEX, Teo, ENNA, Sys42, Azure DevOps, JIRA
- ISTQB certification is considered a plus
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Fluent German and English language skills
