For our client, we are looking for a highly skilled Architecture Engineer with expertise in Azure, Databricks and Terraform.
What will you be responsible for?
- Design, implement, and maintain data platform infrastructure,
- Facilitate data-driven decision-making and analytics across the organization,
- Ensure that data platform is resilient, scalable, and performance-tuned,
- Act as the primary technical contact for all technical and architectural design and implementation related to the data lakehouse platform,
- Taking care of maintanence and implementing new features,
- Plan, design, and build data platform infrastructure on Azure,
- Apply best practices for optimizing Databricks performance and ensuring security,
- Manage and support Databricks clusters, SQL endpoints,
- Create and sustain automation scripts using tools such as Terraform, PowerShell, or Azure CLI to simplify deployment and management processes.
Requirements:
- Over 5 years of demonstrated experience in Azure and Databricks,
- Proficient in monitoring and optimizing the performance of cloud-based solutions,
- Experience working with Databricks and Azure services, such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database and Azure Synapse Analytics,
- Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Terraform,
- Acquainted with big data technologies and frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, and Hive,
- Knowledge about data security best practices, compliance standards, and encryption methods,
- Experience in scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Terraform,
- Proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing data platform infrastructure on Azure, particularly with Databricks.
- Fluent English
