The company is known for its niche specializations in the automotive market, which has resulted in a constantly increasing number of projects and the demand for new specialists since the company was established.

Among the niche specialisations, there is extensive know-how in testing of complex automotive ECUs and expertise in vehicle communication network, especially automotive Ethernet. They are also pioneers of products for bus systems. With the rare knowledge and in-house hardware and software solutions they assist top auto OEMs and their suppliers by creating high-quality products.

We are looking for a Sales Engineer for our client. The company is a leader in the automotive industry, executing projects for major OEMs as well as having its own products. Your task will be to offer current customers the best possible solutions from the company’s product catalog for their test and validation activities.

Your tasks:

  • Working together with the sales team to grasp client needs,
  • Presenting and demonstrating our products to technical and non-technical stakeholders, highlighting their benefits and how they can solve client-specific problems,
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with current clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that meet their specific requirements,
  • Creating and implementing sales strategies,
  • Technical assistance to clients during the sales cycle, clarifying doubts and ensuring comprehension of the offer,
  • Collaborating closely with the product development team, incorporating client feedback to improve the company’s tools,
  • Keeping updated on industry trends, technologies, and competitors to provide knowledgeable technical guidance to clients.
  • Participating in trade shows and industry events to network with potential clients and promote client’s products.

Requirements:

  • Being ready to have national and international bussiness trips (min. 4 per year)- mandatory,
  • University degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related technical field,
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities for effectively conveying technical details to diverse audiences,
  • Proficiency in automotive electronics testing tools, 
  • Good communication and presentation aptitude,
  • Familiarity with international sales and global market dynamics,
  • High level of written and spoken English.

Nice to have:

  • German language,
  • Any other European language will be a plus, 
  • Previous experience in sales field.

Contract type:

Employment contract for an indefinite period with a trial period

Working time:

full-time employment (40h / week) or partial-time possible

Business time:

flexible (core time 10:00 – 15:00)

Holidays:

30 days / year

Gross salary:
65,000 – 85,000 Euro Gross / Year (depending on skills and experience) + high commision
