Currently, we offer a position of Resident Engineer to join a project developing a new generation of ECUs.
The ideal candidate has been involved in the development process of ECUs for the automotive industry and already has an experience with vehicle prototypes as well as with the E/E architecture.
Tasks:
- Commissioning and testing of ECUs,
- Flashing of control units,
- Error diagnosis and trace analysis,
- Measurements on test structures and vehicles,
- Coordinated cooperation with various contact persons,
- Dealing with various evaluation tools and ticket systems,
- Partly use at the customer’s site in Munich.
Requirements
- Experience in the automotive sector / bus communication,
- Basic knowledge of measurement technology and electronics is required,
- Knowledge of tools (INCA, CANoe, ESYS, Creta, Zedis),
- Experience with automotive control units,
- Fluent English and German (at least B2) is mandatory,,
- Good analytical and communication skills,
- Knowledge of BMW processes is a desirable advantage.
This position requires relocation to Munich.
