Currently, we offer a position of a Field Application Engineer for a delegation to California, USA in permanent employment. It is the opportunity to work on project with one of the best known tech companies in the world.
The ideal candidate has a background in electronics for the automotive industry and has already gained some experience with automated testing systems.
Tasks:
- Covering the functionality for company’s HIL-Systems to test modern ECUs on client’s site.
- Responsibility for software and hardware of company’s test tools and the support of remote access.
- Running Hardware-in-the-loop-testing systems.
- Having a permanent contact with the customer and the company’s testing and development departments.
- Commissioning, repairing and bug fixing of new testing racks.
Requirements:
- Good knowledge in the field of Networks and BUS-Systems (CAN, LIN, Flexray, Ethernet – hardware, communication protocols)
- Good electronics skills and some knowledge of IT-Administration for PC and Servers
- Technical degree (also partially completed).
- English B2
Much appreciated:
- Knowledge of OOP language (preferably C++)
