- Drive the development and expansion of strategic customer relationships with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers within the global automotive sector.
- Lead business development activities with a strong focus on Body Functions, Digital Key, Over-the-Air (OTA) updates, infotainment validation, vehicle testing, and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems (rack and bench setups).
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, emerging customer requirements, and innovation potential within distributed international development programs.
- Actively promote and position the company’s engineering services, testing solutions, and validation strategies to prospective and existing clients.
- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders across executive, procurement, and technical levels in international customer organizations.
- Oversee and manage the complete sales lifecycle—from lead generation and RfI/RfQ handling through to negotiation and contract finalization.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, System Architecture, and Delivery teams to develop technically sound and commercially competitive solution proposals.
- Take ownership of revenue targets, sales pipeline management, and quarterly and annual forecasting activities.
- Conduct market and competitive analyses to define and implement growth strategies in System Engineering and Testing Services.
- Prepare and deliver executive presentations, customer meetings, workshops, and technical sales pitches.
- Ensure accurate CRM maintenance and structured tracking of leads, opportunities, and forecast data.
Requirements
- Preferably degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies, IT infrastructures, development toolchains, and engineering organizational structures.
- Prior experience in sales or business development is considered a strong asset.
- Confident in managing forecasts, budgets, quotation processes, and key financial performance indicators.
- Knowledge of infotainment systems, Digital Key technologies, E/E architecture, or software development is advantageous.
- Very good command of German and English (minimum C1 level) to operate effectively in international environments.
