About the Role
For our client with whom we have been cooperating continuously for years and have successfully employed many satisfied employees we are looking for a Technical Project Lead for Test and Validation.
Your tasks
- Define, plan, and manage the overall test strategy and test activities across automotive development projects
- Coordinate system, integration, and acceptance testing for ECUs, vehicle functions, and embedded software
- Lead the implementation and optimization of test processes based on industry standards
- Ensure test coverage, traceability, and compliance with customer requirements and functional safety regulations
- Manage test teams (manual and automated), including task distribution, mentoring, and performance tracking
- Monitor project milestones, risks, and quality KPIs related to testing
- Ensure availability and configuration of test environments (HiL, SiL, benches, tools, test data)
- Collaborate with development, integration, and validation teams to support seamless release cycles
- Represent testing progress in project meetings and audits; contribute to overall quality assurance strategy
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field
- Several years of professional experience in automotive testing,
- First test management or coordination experience
- Solid knowledge of test methods, processes, and lifecycle models
- Knowledge of the common automotive bus communication systems like CAN, LIN, Flexray, Automotive Ethernet, CAN-FD.
- Solid knowledge of test automation frameworks/tools: Vector, CAPL, EXAM, dSPACE ControlDesk
- Familiarity with measurement technology and diagnostic/analysis tools such as CANoe, Analyzer, CANape, INCA, ODIS, and IDEX
- Skillful with customer communication and issue resolutions.
- Excellent German and English skills.
